What was better than catching up with your FICP community in New York? Doing it from a penthouse turret above Lower Manhattan.

On Thursday, October 22, FICP gathered at The Beekman, a Thompson Hotel, for an evening of cocktails and conversation in the hotel’s East Penthouse Turret and Terrace.

One of The Beekman’s most unexpected and exclusive spaces, the turret opened onto a private terrace high above the city, creating a setting that felt a world away from the streets below. Attendees got to experience the space, take in the views, grab a drink and spend the evening with fellow FICP peers.

With the Annual Conference just a few weeks away, it was also the perfect opportunity to reconnect with the New York community, meet someone new and build connections ahead of the gathering in New Orleans.

This networking event was offered free to all financial and insurance (F&I) meetings professionals, whether or not they were FICP members. FICP hospitality partners had the opportunity to attend for a $600* fee or for just $300 when bringing an eligible F&I meetings professional who was not currently an FICP member.

*Registration opened on Tuesday, September 15 at 11:00 a.m. CDT and wwas available to the first 30 registrants. During the registration process, attendees were required to submit the $600 registration fee via credit card. Registrations are available on a first-come, first-served basis and limited to maintain a suitable supplier-to-buyer ratio. Upon reaching 30 registrants, FICP opened a waitlist and additional registrations were released on a rolling basis.

**Hospitality partners were encouraged to invite eligible F&I meetings professionals. Those referring a prospect received a $300 refund following the event if the prospect attended.
