Choose Your Québec City Adventure

On Thursday, June 25, FICP attendees may choose from a selection of curated Québec City adventures. Options will begin at either 2:45 p.m. or 3:00 p.m. and vary in length. The available options are outlined below.

Note: All activities are available on a first‑come, first‑served basis and are subject to maximum capacities. If you sign up for an activity, please plan to attend to help avoid no‑show fees incurred by FICP. Activities are reserved for registered attendees only. Please refer to the email sent from FICP for the registration link to sign up for your preferred activity.

Discovery of Montmorency Fall

Explore this scenic park just outside the city, featuring the impressive 83‑metre (272‑foot) Montmorency Falls. Enjoy views from a cable car and lookout points, plus sparkling wine and light bites at Manoir Montmorency.

Duration: 2.5 hours, departing from hotel at 2:45 p.m. Includes roundtrip transportation via motorcoach (15 minutes each way).

Introduction to Old Québec History (Walking Tour)

Experience the city’s charming old‑world ambiance on a guided walking tour through Old Québec. This overview begins at the hotel and ends at Place Royale, the birthplace of French civilization in North America.

Duration: 1.5 hours, departing from the hotel at 3:00 p.m.
 

Bicycle Tour

Enjoy a guided waterfront bike ride along Québec City’s Old Port and north shore, following the flat, traffic‑free Promenade Samuel‑De Champlain with scenic river views.

Duration: Two hours, departing from the hotel at 2:45 p.m. Includes one-way motorcoach transfer to bicycle outfitter. Group will bike for one hour and conclude the tour at the Place Royale, with a funicular ride back up to the hotel.

A Tasting Stroll in Old Québec (SOLD OUT)

Discover the charm and flavors of Old Québec on a guided walking tour through the historic Petit Champlain district. Learn about the area’s history and culture while enjoying three tasting stops, featuring traditional maple taffy, Québec ice cider, and a charcuterie and cheese pairing with a glass of wine.

Duration: 1.5 hours, departing from the hotel at 3:00 p.m.

Teatime at the Château

Enjoy Château Frontenac’s iconic Afternoon Tea, featuring a selection of 35 teas paired with tiered open sandwiches, freshly baked scones with Devonshire cream and jams and seasonal pastries. An elegant and relaxing classic.

Duration: Two hours, taking place at the hotel beginning at 3:00 p.m.
 

Thursday Morning Exercise Activity

Attendees are also invited to participate in a morning exercise session on Thursday, June 25, from 6:00-6:45 a.m. Attendees may choose between a hosted runner’s loop or a guided walking route, led by local experts.
