Share Your Thought Leadership

Hosted on TheNetwork once a month, Thought Leadership Thursdays (TLT) is an opportunity for hospitality partners and meetings professional members to share your own content or upcoming engagements that would be helpful for others to know about and learn from – supporting your position as a thought leader within the industry!


  • Articles you were featured in or wrote
  • Best practices based on your experience
  • Perspectives on trends that you’re seeing
  • Key takeaways from a recent work experience, event or research conducted
  • Relevant research insights conducted by your organization
  • Content-forward promotional marketing (e.g., a webinar you are hosting, an upcoming industry-related event that you are speaking at)

How It Works

  • On the third Thursday of each month, meetings professionals and hospitality partners are encouraged to post in the TLT thread.
  • FICP members are notified of upcoming TLTs within FICP emails, on the FICP website and within TheNetwork. Additionally, an FICP staff member posts a reminder in the TLT thread the day before the event.
  • The Friday after TLT, an FICP staff member will post a message declaring the thread “closed” until the next TLT.
  • TLT is not a sales pitch. FICP staff will review all TLT posts in accordance with TheNetwork's rules of engagement. Posts that are not helpful to others or are for personal/monetary gain (e.g., direct selling) will be removed at FICP’s discretion.
  • To maintain a collegial space, self-promotional posts on TheNetwork are not allowed except during Thought Leadership Thursdays once a month.
