Application Criteria

This event is intended for the most senior management professional within a company's meeting planning department. If your company is structured in a way that has multiple strategic leaders, up to two participants per company may participate, provided both meet the eligibility criteria.

Hospitality Partners

In order to attend any FICP event, hospitality partners must secure attendance through the online sponsorship sales process. Sponsorship sales for the 2026 FICP Strategic Leaders Event will open on August 20, 2026. 

The Strategic Leaders Event is organized by and for meetings professionals, and FICP is pleased to offer an exclusive opportunity for hospitality partners to network with this group during select portions of this program, including a keynote speaker and dinner on December 7 and breakfast and lunch on December 8. Hospitality partner participation does not include education sessions, outside of the opening keynote.

Cancellation Policies

Meetings Professional Cancellation & Substitution Policy

Meetings professional registration cancellations made on or before Friday, November 13, 2026, will receive a full refund for the registration fee, less a $100 processing fee. Membership dues are non-refundable. No refunds will be issued for registration cancellations received after Friday, November 13, 2026. All substitutions must be approved by FICP. Registrations may not be transferred to other FICP events. 

Sponsorship Cancellation & Substitution Policy

Sponsorships may not be cancelled. Sponsors are obligated to fulfill the minimum number of registrations for their sponsorship level. Registrants who are unable to attend may designate another person to attend in their place provided that they are employed within that same company. All substitutions must be FICP Hospitality Partners approved by FICP. For more information, view the FICP Terms and Conditions for Event Participation.

Event Cancellation Policy

Financial & Insurance Conference Professionals (FICP) reserves the right to cancel an event due to low enrollment or any other circumstances which FICP determines would make the event impractical or impossible to hold. If FICP cancels an event, FICP will refund registration fees or allow transfer to a virtual event if applicable. Participant understands that all losses and damages that it may suffer as a consequence of a Show Adjustment or cancellation are its responsibility and not that of FICP or its directors, officers, employees, agents or subcontractors. Except for the Show cancellation refund, Participant understands that it may lose all monies it has otherwise incurred for FICP, including travel, lodging, etc.
