Registration Eligibility

The meetings professional application for the 2023 FICP Strategic Leaders Event is now open. Applications will be reviewed by FICP, and strategic leaders will be notified within one week of their acceptance to attend the event. Please submit an application regardless of past Strategic Leaders Event attendance.

Application Criteria

  • 10 years or more of meetings management experience required (must include at least 10 years of people management experience).
  • Current job responsibilities include oversight of meeting planning functions (along with staffing, budget and policy responsibilities).
  • This event is intended for the most senior management professional within a company's meeting planning department. There is a limit of 1 attendee per company. However, attendees may be accepted from both a parent company and subsidiary.

Registration Information

Meetings Professional Registration Fee: $379

Registration fee includes access to all education sessions and networking activities during the two-day event. Participants have the opportunity to earn 5+ CMP credits.

Hospitality partner participation at the Strategic Leaders Event is limited to the Evening Reception and Dinner on Monday, December 4. Please note: rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The hotel cutoff date is Monday, November 13, or whenever rooms sell out - whichever occurs first.

Meetings Professional Registration Cancellation & Substitution Policy

Meetings Professional registration cancellations made on or before Friday, November 3, 2023, will receive a full refund minus a $100 processing fee. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after Friday, November 3, 2023. All substitutions must be approved by FICP. Registrations may not be transferred to other FICP events.

Sponsorship Cancellation & Substitution Policy

Sponsorships are not cancelable. Sponsors are obligated to fulfill the minimum number of registrations for their sponsorship level. Registrants who are unable to attend may designate another person to attend in their place provided that they are employed within that same company. All substitutions must be FICP hospitality partners approved by FICP. For more information, view the FICP Terms and Conditions.

Event Cancellation Policy

Financial & Insurance Conference Professionals (FICP) reserves the right to cancel an event due to low enrollment or any other circumstances which FICP determines would make the event impractical or impossible to hold. If FICP cancels an event, FICP will refund registration fees or allow transfer to a virtual event if applicable. Participant understands that all losses and damages that it may suffer as a consequence of a Show Adjustment or cancellation are its responsibility and not that of FICP or its directors, officers, employees, agents or subcontractors. Except for the Show cancellation refund, Participant understands that it may lose all monies it has otherwise incurred for FICP, including travel, lodging, etc.
