As the light at the end of the proverbial pandemic tunnel burns brighter, following is an overview of how hospitality partners can increase their brand awareness and exposure to FICP members through a combination of virtual and face-to-face events, and advertising opportunities throughout the year.

Event Partnership

Only qualified and approved hospitality partners who secure sponsorship can attend an FICP event. Each event has a unique sponsorship sales date and time at which hospitality partners may submit an application to participate or sponsor. The dates are published on this website and via social media. On the designated day and time an application link appears on the website for submissions. Sponsorship is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information, view the Terms and Conditions for FICP Event Participation.

Please note: Hospitality partners are not permitted to host any organized functions beginning one hour prior to the start of an FICP event to one hour following the official conclusion of the same event. Hospitality partner-hosted pre- and/or post-events must be confirmed with FICP headquarters in writing at least 90 days prior to said FICP conference. Materials promoting such events must be provided to FICP for review and approval; please review the Terms and Conditions for additional details.

Digital Partnership

With the onset of the pandemic, FICP has expanded the live and anytime education and networking activities available to our community, and witnessed an exponential increase in participation by our members and hospitality partners. View pages 10 and 11 of our prospectus to learn more about engaging opportunities that include webinars, posts on TheBlog, research sponsorships and website advertising.

Strategic Partnership

The FICP Strategic Partner Program is a year-long sponsorship program designed to maximize exposure and participation for a hospitality partner company. The program offers guaranteed access to the Education Forum and Annual Conference, as well as various forms of recognition throughout the year, including on the FICP website, e-publications and more. Strategic Partners help FICP to accomplish its mission by delivering added value to its meetings professional members and increasing the association’s influence within the meetings and events industry. The number of Strategic Partners is limited and participation is determined by one’s location on the wait list. RFP Opportunities

FICP posts RFPs for various service needs throughout the year and when available.

Current opportunities include:

  • Board Meetings: FICP has four board meetings per year. A host is typically needed for spring, fall, and winter meetings. Please contact Katie Karmowski if you are interested in hosting a board meeting this year or in a future year.
  • Education Forum: FICP is not currently sourcing for this event. Please contact Katie Karmowski if you have any questions.
  • Symposia: If you are interested in submitting a proposal for a future event, please contact Shelby Fulkerson.
