2020 Sponsorship Prospectus
Update: Sponsorship sales occurred Thursday, June 11, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. CST. The Annual Conference will take place November 15-18 at the Washington Hilton in Washington, D.C., as planned.
In light of the business impacts caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the following revised payment policies will apply for 2020 Annual Conference participation. Once event participation/sponsorship is approved, participants who are unable to pay in full within 30 days will need to coordinate a payment schedule with FICP by July 1, 2020. This schedule must provide for the receipt of the full sponsorship amount by September 1, 2020. All sponsorships may be cancelled for a full refund if submitted in writing prior to September 1, 2020. In the interim, contracted sponsors/partners may register and receive recognition consistent with their sponsor level. All other payment provisions apply.
Only qualified and approved hospitality partners who secure sponsorship can attend an FICP event. Each event has a unique sponsorship sale date and time for which hospitality partners will need to submit an application through the competitive entry to become a sponsor. The dates are published on the website and via social media. On the designated day and time an application link appears on the website for submissions. Sponsorship is offered on a first-come, first-served basis and opportunities are limited. For more information, view the Terms and Conditions for FICP Event Participation.
Please note: FICP does not permit hospitality partners to host any organized functions beginning one hour prior to the start of an FICP conference to one hour following the official conclusion of the same conference. Hospitality partner-hosted pre- and/or post-events must be confirmed with FICP headquarters in writing at least 90 days prior to said FICP conference. Materials promoting such events must be provided to FICP for review and approval, please review the Terms and Conditions for additional details.
The year-long FICP Strategic Partner Program efficiently delivers a high level of exposure and opportunities to drive revenue. Strategic partnership allows FICP to deliver added value to its meetings professional members, hospitality partners and the meetings and events industry at large in the form of industry research, participation in industry events and more. Strategic Partners have guaranteed access to the Education Forum and Annual Conference, as well as recognition on the FICP website and inclusion in FICP materials such as NewsNet and the printed Directory. - Board Meetings: FICP has four board meetings per year. A host is typically needed for spring, fall, and winter meetings. Please contact Ellie Hurley if you are interested in hosting a board meeting this year or in a future year.
