Creating our new history means trying new things, being bold and supporting each other. That was what our never been done before Closing Experience was all about… and all attendees had starring roles!

From the networking breakfast to a fully integrated, CSR experience woven into this high-energy, 90-minute immersive keynote address, attendees left refueled with inspiration, deepened relationships and the knowledge that they made a direct and positive impact on the world.

Wine to Water: How Ordinary People Can Do Extraordinary Things

Closing Keynote, Doc Hendley, is proof that anyone, even a tattooed keg-tapper, can cure what ails the world.

In 2003, Hendley dreamed up the concept of Wine to Water while bartending and playing music in nightclubs around Raleigh, North Carolina. In January of 2004, he held his first fundraiser and by August was living in Darfur, Sudan installing water systems for victims of the government-supported genocide.

Hendley’s work aims to help the 1.1 billion people worldwide who lack access to clean water and, as a 501(c)(3) organization, Wine to Water is doing just that… and so did our 2022 Annual Conference attendees during the integrated W|W Filter Build® Experience!

W|W FILTER BUILD® EXPERIENCE

The W|W Filter Build® Experience is a meaningful, hands-on approach to impacting communities around the world with clean water.

With just 10 parts, clicks and screws, attendees assembled one of W|W's filter technologies that will impact lives worldwide. Each filter helps provide 12 people with clean water for 10+ years – filtering up to 99.99999% of harmful bacteria and turbidity from water!
