The FICP 24th annual Silent Auction raised $130,671.18, surpassing the previous year’s record by more than $2,700. Through the continued generosity of members and partners, the initiative has now contributed more than $1.3 million to charitable organizations since its inception.
This year’s auction featured 145 packages donated by companies and individuals across the FICP community, reflecting a shared commitment to giving back and supporting meaningful causes.

The Silent Auction supported three organizations dedicated to protecting children, uplifting hospitality professionals and advancing equality:
Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) for Children of DC promotes court-appointed volunteer advocacy, ensuring that every abused and neglected child in Washington, D.C.’s foster care or juvenile justice system is safe, experiences permanence and has the opportunity to thrive. This mission is carried out through the recruitment, training and support of CASA volunteer advocates who serve youth in Washington, D.C.

The Above and Beyond Foundation recognizes, rewards and supports outstanding individuals employed on the front lines of the hospitality industry by providing awards and grants to help them attain their personal and professional goals.
Donation: $26,000 (including two $10,000 Heart of Hospitality grants)
Human Rights Campaign is an organization that fights to make equality, equity and liberation a reality for all lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer people. As the nation’s largest LGBTQ+ civil rights organization, they drive impact by inspiring, engaging and mobilizing millions of pro-equality voters and supporters to elect pro-equality leaders and to demand equity-based policies and legislation; changing hearts and minds through programming that increases understanding, visibility and support for the diverse LGBTQ+ community in all aspects of identities; and transforming the institutions and systems that shape our everyday lives by advancing LGBTQ+ inclusive policies and practices in schools, workplaces, hospitals, communities and beyond.
