Registration Eligibility

The meetings professional application for the 2021 FICP Strategic Leaders Event is now open. Applications will be reviewed by FICP, and strategic leaders will be notified within one week of their acceptance to attend the event. Please submit an application regardless of past Strategic Leaders Event attendance.

Application Criteria 

  • 10 years or more of meetings management experience required (must include at least 10 years of people management experience).
  • Current job responsibilities include oversight of meeting planning functions (along with staffing, budget and policy responsibilities).
  • This event is intended for the most senior management professional within a company's meeting planning department. There is a limit of 1 attendee per company. However, attendees may be accepted from both a parent company and subsidiary.

Registration Information

Meetings Professional Registration Fee: $349 
Registration fee includes access to all education sessions and networking activities during the two-day event. Participants have the opportunity to earn 6+ CMP credits.

Hospitality Partners: Hospitality partner participation at the Strategic Leaders Event is limited to the Evening Reception and Dinner on Monday, December 6. Sales for 2021 Strategic Leaders Event will open Thursday, August 19 at 11:00 a.m. CDT. Please contact sponsorship@ficpnet.com with questions. Meetings Professional Registration Cancellation & Substitution Policy

Meetings Professional registration cancellations made on or before Friday, November 5, 2021 will receive a full refund minus a $100 processing fee. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after Friday, November 5, 2021. All substitutions must be approved by FICP. Registrations may not be transferred to other FICP events.

Please note: rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The hotel cutoff date is Monday, November 8, or whenever rooms sell out - whichever occurs first.

Hotel Cancellation Policy
All reservations must be guaranteed by a major credit card. All cancellations and changes must be received at least 24 hours prior to expected arrival, or a penalty equal to one night's room rate plus tax and service penalty will be charged.
