Health & Safety

FICP is deeply committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of our event participants, partners and sponsors, and communities. As such, the Annual Event Team and FICP Headquarters staff will work closely in cooperation with our partners at the Washington Hilton to implement the most up-to-date recommendations from local, state and federal health authorities. This may include, but is not limited to social distancing and sanitization guidelines, and changes to F&B. We will provide additional details to attendees as the event draws closer.

In the meantime, please review these resources as you begin to plan your participation.

New Hotel Protocols

Hilton has partnered with RB, makers of Lysol® & Dettol®*, to help deliver an even cleaner stay for its guests with the creation of the Hilton CleanStay program.

Your Role in a Safe Event

Consistent with recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), if you are sick, think you may be sick or have been exposed to others who are sick, FICP advises you to stay home except to get medical care. Monitor your symptoms, seek emergency medical attention if you exhibit emergency warning signs, isolate yourself from others and follow other measures outlined here.

Virtual Alternatives

FICP will provide options for virtual participation in portions of the 2020 Annual Conference for those who may be at higher risk of severe illness. Please check back for additional details as the event approaches.
