Your health and safety is our top priority.

*Please check this page regularly for health and safety updates. Last update: 07/12/21.

The health and safety of our 2021 Annual Conference attendees remains our top priority as we return to in-person events. We are making preparations to hold the 2021 Annual Conference in accordance with currently applicable national government and local authority guidance, as well as working with the JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge Resort & Spa to ensure the highest standards of safety, hygiene, cleanliness and operational effectiveness for all participants.

While full event details and health and safety protocols are still being finalized, you can anticipate we will follow CDC guidelines at this year's event. We will be updating this page as the event draws closer with detailed information about what you can expect when you can attend the 2021 Annual Conference.

By registering for the 2021 FICP Annual Conference, you can attest at the time of your arrival that you will:

  • have a negative test result for COVID-19 from a test administered within three days of arrival using either molecular/PCR or antigen/”rapid” testing; or
  • have recovered from COVID-19 and been deemed safe to travel; or
  • have completed the vaccination for COVID-19 no later than two weeks prior to arrival according to the protocols recommended by the CDC or other medical professional;
  • have not travelled from any location within the two weeks prior to the event for which a health advisory or travel restriction has been issues by the United States Centers for Disease Control or the state of Arizona.

Be sure to check your state's travel restrictions when planning to attend this event, as well.

CDC Guidance

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has recently updated its travel recommendations for fully vaccinated and unvaccinated travelers.

Air Travel

Your airline is the best source for personal safety protocols at the gate and on the airplane.  Be sure to visit your airline website the week you are traveling and sign up for notifications related to your trip. The Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport website has a Coronavirus Information page that is updated with information about what they are doing and what travelers should expect when arriving and departing from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.

The PHX has obtained the Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC) STAR accrediting rating which means Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport is implementing the industry’s highest standards for cleaning, disinfection and infectious disease prevention.
