Welcome Event on the Village Green

Monday, June 26 | 6:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Sponsored by: Montage Hotels & Resorts

The quaint, neighborhood atmosphere of the Village Green provides the perfect backdrop for our welcome night with a comfortable, small town feel. The historic Wilson Mansion Ruins are within steps, and serve as a natural conversation starter. With panoramic views of the May River, we will gather under branches of mature oak trees on the lush lawns of Palmetto Bluff. This is the perfect, relaxed location to enjoy a gourmet lowcountry-inspired meal and watch the tides at sunset. Connect with colleagues in Adirondack chairs around the fire pits, treat yourself to a s’more, and soak up every bit of this unique corner of the world.

Moreland Landing was built by renowned sculptor and craftsman, Wayne Edwards, on the banks of the May River. Complete with an amazing stone fireplace, and a five-story tree house wrapped around a centuries-old live oak tree, Moreland Landing offers spectacular views of the pristine May River. Just beyond the pavilion, under the open air, is an oyster fire pit where fresh oysters are steamed and roasted. A lowcountry seafood boil and barbeque will follow. With live music and plenty of room to relax under the stars, the evening at Moreland Landing will be one to remember.
