FICP continues to watch the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidance carefully in regards to the COVID-19 pandemic, and realigning our health and safety measures on an ongoing basis.
As an association of meeting professionals, FICP’s responsibility is to share best practices as well as lead by example. Therefore, to safely reconvene in person, the following requirements are being put in place.
Vaccination Requirement
For public health and safety reasons, everyone attending the 2022 FICP Education Forum will agree to comply with all health, safety and distancing guidelines and must provide proof that they have completed the vaccination for COVID-19 no later than two weeks prior to arrival, according to the protocols recommended by the CDC and other medical professionals. If a health or religious reason requires an exemption from being vaccinated, a negative test will be permitted for those exemptions. Requests for exemptions must be submitted to info@ficpnet.com no later than May 31, 2022.
These rules apply to all in-person meeting professionals, hospitality partners, sponsors, speakers and FICP staff, regardless of your registration date.
Masks
We do not plan to require masks unless masks become required by local guidelines.
CDC Guidance
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) continues to update its travel recommendations for fully vaccinated and unvaccinated travelers.

Air Travel
Your airline is the best source for personal safety protocols at the gate and on the airplane. Be sure to visit your airline website the week you are traveling and sign up for notifications related to your trip. Both the Hollywood Burbank Airport as well as the Los Angeles International Airport have Coronavirus Information web pages that are updated with information about what they are doing and what travelers should expect when arriving and departing from each airport.
Be sure to check your state's travel restrictions when planning to attend this event.
