The 2014 FICP Annual Conference was a success, drawing nearly 600 attendees to the Hilton Waikoloa Village in Waikoloa Hawai’i. Attendees enhanced their knowledge through more than 30 education sessions, while networking with colleagues and partners creating an an unforgettable conference experience.
Education sessions encompassed topics such as meeting technology, gamification, the airline industry, international meetings, contract issues and much more. Attendees also heard from an impressive array of keynote speakers. Robert Fogarty invited attendees to consider the power of photography as a vehicle for communication and captured attendees’ stories throughout the event, while Carey Lohrenz touched on leadership lessons she learned while serving as the first female F-14 Tomcat Fighter Pilot in the U.S. Navy. Comedian Make Rayburn also delivered a unique keynote address, using music and humor to inspire attendees to think “What If…”, while Emcee Jim Cunningham provided consistent entertainment and comedic relief throughout the event.
Attendees also enjoyed several Hawai’i-themed networking events, allowing them to connect with peers while experiencing Hawaiian culture and traditions.
