Dear Friends,

FICP’s Board of Directors knows that you were looking forward to gathering in-person in Washington, D.C., for the 2020 FICP Annual Conference this fall. However, the continued impacts of COVID-19 on our community and corresponding government restrictions have made it impossible for us to proceed with the 2020 FICP Annual Conference as planned in November. Thus, due to these unexpected causes beyond our control, FICP has been forced to cancel the 2020 FICP Annual Conference.

However, we remain committed to supporting and acting in the best interest of our members, hospitality partners and the events industry. As such, we are pleased to announce that, in lieu of this year’s FICP Annual Conference, we will be proceeding with an alternative and fully virtual event experience.

FICP: Reimagined, November 16-18, will feature the same types of relevant and timely education you were expecting in Washington, D.C., including breakout sessions to help you adapt your own upcoming events and ensure your long-term professional impact, along with inspiring keynote presentations and insightful industry updates.

Through a variety of networking activities, small-group discussions and one-on-one meetings, you will also have ample opportunity to exchange innovative ideas and successes with fellow attendees, or just catch up with a friend. You’ll just have to bring your own beverage.

So much more than a Zoom meeting, FICP: Reimagined will be hosted on a virtual platform that centralizes and enhances your virtual experience, while allowing you to earn 12+ CMP credits through access to all recorded breakout sessions for up to 30 days post-event (more than what you could receive by attending the live event!).

Online registration is now available for FICP: Reimagined. Learn more.

If you have already registered for the 2020 FICP Annual Conference, you should have received a communication from FICP Headquarters with options for your registration for our alternative, virtual event. Our hospitality partners are encouraged to reach out to Steve Bova or Erica Pohl to discuss sponsorship options.
