Five Things to Know in October

  1. Mark your calendar for the 2015 FICP Winter Symposium, taking place January 25-27 at the Langham Hotel in Boston, MA. Registration will open Tuesday, October 28. 

  2. FICP's 13th annual silent auction is now open for bidding. Prizes in this year's auction include a stay at a beachside retreat, a European getaway and much more. You do not need to attend the 2014 Annual Conference to participate and win items. Participate in this fun and charitable event from the comfort of your home or office. Click here for important information you will need to get started.   3. Hospitality Partners: 2015 FICP Winter Symposium sales will open Tuesday, October 21 at 11:00 a.m. CDT. Visit the Symposia Partner Opportunities webpage to learn more and review the Terms & Conditions for FICP Event Participation prior to sales opening.

  4. Save the Dates for the 2015 FICP Summer Symposium, August 20-22 in Montréal, and the 2015 FICP Fall Symposium, September 30-October 2 in California. More information will be available soon.

The 2014 FICP Annual Conference is right around the corner! Taking place November 16-19 at the Hilton Waikoloa Village in Waikoloa Hawai'i, this is sure to be an unforgettable event. Planning to join us in Hawai'i? Be sure to take advantage of airfare deals when booking your travel, and don’t forget to reserve a tour or activity through MC&A Inc., to make the most of your time in Hawai'i.

Recruiting Effort for Annual Conference Extended to 10/31

Hospitality partners now have until Friday, October 31 to recruit new planner members and earn a spot at the 2014 FICP Annual Conference in Hawai'i. Follow the steps below if you plan to take advantage of this extended deadline.

  1. The new planner member should submit a membership application and dues payment. The planner member should list the hospitality partner's name and company in the referral section of the application. 
  2. Once the planner member has been approved for membership, they must register for the 2014 FICP Annual Conference in Hawai'i
  3. After the planner member has joined FICP and registered for the 2014 Annual Conference, the hospitalit partner will receive a code to register for the 2014 Annual Conference at a discounted registration fee of $2,800 ($5,175 value).

Please note: This is a recruiting effort to build a strong membership base. Hospitality partners are not allowed to pay for planner members' dues or fees associated with attending the conference (registration, hotel, airfare, etc.). Click here for complete details. 

2014 New Member Recruiting Contest Winner

The New Member Recruiting Contest is FICP’s yearly promotion to grow membership and allow hospitality partners who did not secure a sponsorship opportunity to attend the Annual Conference (this year, in Hawaiʻi). FICP proudly welcomed 55 new members as a result of the 2014 contest. Thank you to all of the members and hospitality partners who helped grow FICP!
