Annual Conference Wrap-Up

The 2016 FICP Annual Conference was a great success, drawing a record-breaking audience of more than 680 planner members and hospitality partners to one of the fastest-growing cities in the meetings and events industry: Nashville.

Attendees were able to choose from an array of forward-looking education and had extensive networking opportunities throughout the event. Delphi Group founder Tom Koulopoulos spoke on relentless innovation, while U.S. Astronaut and retired Navy Captain Scott Kelly capped off the event with lessons in hard work and perseverance, learned from his year in space. The breakout sessions also featured tens of industry leaders, including current FICP planner members. Education centered on emerging event technology, the recent DOL Fiduciary ruling, event trends of the future and more.

Additionally, attendees were able to experience an authentic Nashvillian week, complete with line dancing, barbecue and country music, and enjoyed several networking events, including The Network -  Live. View our event wrap-up page for more details.

15th Annual Silent Auction

This year, meetings professionals and hospitality partners donated $51,616.59 to Junior Achievement® (JA) Worldwide and Junior Achievement® of Middle Tennessee through the 15th Annual Silent Auction.

JA – which has been FICP's philanthropic partner since 2012 – is the world's largest organization dedicated to giving young people the knowledge and skills they need to own their economic success, plan their future and make smart academic and economic choices.

To date, FICP – thanks to our dedicated planner members and hospitality partners – has donated more than $300,000 to JA Worldwide and local JA chapters!
