2016: Year in Review

FICP produced five events – attended by more than 1,200 meetings and events professionals – in five top-rated destinations in very distinct locations across North America. These events included 11 dedicated networking events, 68 educational sessions and 75 hours of educational content, all of which were specifically selected to help improve your abilities as a meetings and events professional in the financial services and insurance industries.

Networking continued online in TheNetwork, where 450+ planner members and hospitality partners are active each month, sharing hundreds of documents, solving issues peer-to-peer and building long-lasting personal relationships.

The FICP Board of Directors unveiled new mission and vision statements to help amplify the positive impact and value meetings have on your company.

Learning from One Another: 2016 Idea Exchanges

At the 2016 Annual Conference, FICP dedicated time to help attendees connect with each other on a specific topic, using peer coaches to drive discussions and capture takeaways. These Idea Exchanges allowed attendees to dive deep into a topic – including international meetings and wellness activity ideas – and help provide others with their insight.

The notes from each of these sessions are available in TheNetwork
