Your Health and Safety Is Our Top Priority

FICP is watching the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidance carefully in regards to the COVID-19 pandemic, and realigning our health and safety measures on an ongoing basis.

As an association of meeting professionals, FICP’s responsibility is to share best practices as well as lead by example. The health and safety of our 2021 Strategic Leaders Event attendees remains our top priority as we return to in-person events. Therefore, to safely reconvene in person, the following requirements are being put in place.

Health & Safety Requirements

For public health and safety reasons, everyone attending the 2021 FICP Strategic Leaders Event will agree to comply with all health, safety and distancing guidelines. Attendees must provide proof that they have completed the vaccination for COVID-19 no later than two weeks prior to arrival and must wear a mask during all indoor functions (unless eating or drinking) at the Strategic Leaders Event, according to the protocols recommended by the CDC and other medical professionals. Exemptions to the vaccine protocol were also due on November 22. If you have not been exempt from this protocol, you should provide proof of your vaccination status. View all health and safety FAQs

These rules apply to all in-person meeting professionals, hospitality partners, sponsors and FICP staff, regardless of your registration date.

If you attended the Annual Conference and submitted proof of vaccination through the CLEAR mobile app, there is no additional action for you. If you did not attend the Annual Conference, you will be required to show your vaccination card and government-issued ID at the registration desk prior to receiving your badge.

All attendees will be required to wear a mask during all indoor functions (unless eating or drinking), based on the CDC’s recommendations for the Chicago area as of November 22. Please note that all information, policies and protocols are subject to change at any time, should the situation evolve.

While we are constantly updating our health and safety protocols, know that FICP is committed to holding the 2021 Strategic Leaders Event in person this December and continues to work with the Four Seasons Hotel Chicago to ensure the highest standards of safety, hygiene, cleanliness and operational effectiveness for all participants. We can't wait to see you in December!
