Delivering Value to FICP Partners
The FICP sponsorship program has undergone an evolution, over the past several years, to become a fair and objective process as well as a model program for our industry. Based on continuous feedback from our hospitality partner community and the ever-changing marketplace, FICP identified the need to modernize its sponsorship offerings to keep pace with industry trends, align with partners’ business objectives and deliver opportunities that drive results.
Enhancements continue to be made to the program and the association is committed to adding value that produces tangible and intangible ROI for our partners. Thank you to the many hospitality partners that have supported FICP throughout the years and make it possible to provide value to our planner members.
This year’s sponsorship program features several improvements including:
* Patron Level recognition
* Hosted buyer program (launched in 2009)
* New relationship manager position budgeted for 2010
* New and creative spin on the Marketplace (now called The Network) at the Annual Conference
* Expanded Membership Directory advertising and Web opportunities
* And more!
It gives me great pleasure to report that sponsorships for both the Education Forum and Annual Conference are 100 percent sold, and in record time – with the help of our "new" (automated) sponsorship application process. Say "goodbye" to the infamous fax machine and watch for even more efficiencies and time savers next year!
The 2010 Sponsorship Committee is working on initiatives such as developing regional sponsorship participation guidelines and re-evaluating the Strategic Partner value proposition and deliverables. We’re also looking into the recruiting and chain models to ensure proper positioning and return to the hospitality partner community. Watch for details in the coming months as we build out these important priorities.
None of us was immune to what has taken place within our industry over the past 14 months, but can feel proud of what we have accomplished together: demonstrating collaboration and the value of "shared" partnership – the very core of our organization.
Thank you to all our hospitality partners for your continued commitment toward our association. We are honored to serve alongside you every day!
All the best,

Nancy Farmer, CMP
