The 2009 FICP Annual Conference took place November 15-18, at the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel. The event offered more than 35 industry-focused education sessions organized in tracks by experience levels, and provided opportunities to exchange best practices and money-saving tips between meeting professionals and the hospitality partner community. The programming focused on thriving in the changing economy, including a keynote panel presentation from Geoffrey Colvin, Fortune Magazine’s Senior Editor at Large, Bill Kavanaugh, Vice President, Marketing and Professional Development, Securian Financial Services and Thomas W. Storey, President of Fairmont Hotels & Resorts.
