Panelist and Moderator Biographies:

Larry Roth joined AIG Advisor Group in 2006 as President and CEO of Royal Alliance. Prior to this role, Roth served as a Managing Director of Berkshire Capital Corp (BCC) with responsibility for mergers and acquisitions of retail brokerage firms, strategic marketing and e-commerce distribution initiatives since 2001. With more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, he provided expertise in the strategies in securities, banking and brokerage channels, management of financial services firms with a particular emphasis on the independent channel, as well as e-commerce distribution initiatives. Prior to joining BCC, Roth was CEO of the ING U.S. Retail Group, which, under his leadership, grew to become the largest independent broker-dealer network in the United States. He served as Chairman of its task force on global e-commerce initiatives for financial intermediaries as a member of the company’s U.S. Retail Financial Services Executive Committee. Previously, he was owner and CEO of VESTAX Securities Corp., a Midwestern financial planning broker-dealer he built to more than 700 registered representatives and sold to ING Group.
Kim Boriin is the Senior Event Marketing Specialist with Guardian Investor Services LLC, New York, New York. Kim joined Guardian in 2001. He manages NASD compliant educational sales meetings. Besides meetings Kim manages spending for the Sales and Marketing team. He also offers sales etiquette training to the internal sales force having spent 17 years in the hospitality industry prior to joining Guardian.
